Description

A cookbook with 92 seasonal recipes celebrating 50 years of the Davis Farmers Market, with illustrations by the authors. Guest essays about the Market's origins, the battle for farmers markets certification, and the sense of optimism and change of the 1970s add yet another dimension to this celebratory book.

Throughout the pages, heartfelt anecdotes from the farmers, vendors, and shoppers illuminate the poignant role the Market continues to play in daily lives.
