Description

Hiking High Points of America: A Guide to Hiking the Highest Point in All 50 States is a practical and aspirational guidebook that will equip readers with the knowledge they need to summit each of the 50 states' highest points. From the spectacular western peaks of Mount Whitney in California, Mount Hood in Oregon, and Mount Rainier in Washington, to the eastern peaks of Mount Washington in New Hampshire, Mount Katahdin in Maine, Mount Mitchell in North Carolina, and even the modest Jerimoth Hill in Rhode Island, this guide will cover the highest vantage point each state has to offer at the end of trails from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
